Am I happy with this particular release!? No, I’m up in the skies :). John Coltrane is not among, but my favorite jazz musician. I’ve somehow come across his music at my early age. Yep, it was a bit strange to spin Coltrane’s tracks and being fully enthusiastic about it in my elementary school period, but I’m more than happy and grateful about it. John Coltrane left an unforgettable impact on my life and my understanding of the music. He remains my musical hero and an endless inspiration… “On March 6, 1963, John Coltrane and his classic quartet – McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, and Elvin Jones – recorded an entire studio album at the legendary Van Gelder Studios. This music, which features unheard originals, is finally released, 55 years later. This is, in short, the holy grail of jazz music!”
