Giving him card blanche on the systems features and size, but with a challenge that it had to be extremely good before he actually would buy the system! Since Charles likes a good challenge he started designing and building the world’s most expensive and best sounding audio system at that time, eventually called the Grand Enigma Reference System.”
“Of course it didn’t stop there, because the whole system was placed in an underground atomic bomb shelter, of which you can imagine the acoustics weren’t so good. So he treated the whole room with exclusive acoustic material and special walls to accompany the Grand Enigma Reference System.
Despite the difficulties of this challenge, Charles was able to make the customer very happy with his system and the system is actually still alive & kicking!”
