In the history of any hi-fi company, something truly magnificent occasionally emerges. This was the case in 2020 with the outstanding Telemann GPT – a model that remains relevant to this day.
Now, by upholding the proven design principles of the Telemann and consistently evolving the concept further, the VR32 has been created.
The result is a neat little device that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of features. While the original Telemann had only a single control – the on/off button – the VR32 can be operated entirely via the unit itself or by remote control. Of course, the purism of the Telemann has its own appeal, but using a “real” volume knob – one that even features ball bearings – simply feels great.

But that is, of course, not all: by ensuring that all analog boards are strictly separated and configured in a mono setup, channel separation has been increased to over 110 dB. The result is a soundstage with even more precise spatial imaging and perfect focusing. All other specifications remain as they were: at the physical limit. Noise is less than 2µV at the output (volume: 0dB), distortion less than 0.001% – to name just a few.
