LORENZO AUDIO GRANDE FLAGSHIP SPEAKERS

Lorenzo Audio is proud to announce the launch of a new flagship model: the Lorenzo GRANDE.

GRANDE is part of the recently launched Bravo Collection and sets a new benchmark, bringing high-end sound remarkably close to the reality of a live performance, whether it is a soloist, a small ensemble, or a full orchestra.

Built around Lorenzo Audio’s philosophy of using exclusively wood for its enclosures, GRANDE is further optimized with the company’s proprietary “ROS” technology*, which draws on tonal qualities traditionally associated with musical instruments to bring greater naturalness and emotional expression to the listening experience.

The GRANDE features some of the finest drivers available, combining paper cones and Alnico magnets with high-quality compression drivers and tweeters. These are matched with exclusive crossovers incorporating Duelund, Mundorf, and Pathaudio components. The result of more than four years of intensive development and fine-tuning, the system is designed to deliver an exceptional level of sonic refinement.

GRANDE offers rich tonal colour, a vast and immersive soundstage, and highly realistic dynamics. Its high sensitivity of 98 dB also makes it particularly well suited to moderate-power vacuum-tube and solid-state amplifiers.

With the Lorenzo GRANDE, the aim is simple: to bring the listener closer to the immediacy, scale, and emotional impact of live music.

*About the Resonance Optimization System (ROS)

At Lorenzo Audio, we have developed our own design methodology, the Resonance Optimization System, or ROS. It is based on the analysis, measurement, evaluation, and careful optimization of the resonances generated within our wooden speaker cabinets, with the aim of using these natural properties to enhance the listening experience.

Our speaker cabinets, bass-reflex ports, and accessories are made from tonal woods of different thicknesses, selected and worked to make constructive use of their individual resonant characteristics. Rather than attempting to eliminate resonance altogether, ROS treats it as an integral part of the design, allowing the wood to contribute naturally to the character and richness of musical reproduction.

We approach our speakers much like musical instruments, carefully shaping their materials and construction to achieve a convincing sense of realism, detail, dynamics, and emotional expression. The result is an engaging presentation designed to remain natural and involving over extended listening, without becoming fatiguing.
