Magda Tagliaferro shines beside Guiomar Novaes the other great Brazilian piano virtuoso. She has imposed a new concept of female sonority on the keyboard. As an excellent interpreter, she became an interpretative reference, especially in Brazilian and French late romantic piano music. First and only made in Brazil on London LLB 1095-S Stereo Label, recorded in 1974. Program: Danças Espanholas (Spanish Dances) with works from Isaac Albeniz, Henrique Granados, and Manuel De Falla. Magda Tagliaferro, piano solo.
