The Magico M7 loudspeaker is measured by the Klippel Near-Field Scanner. The Klippel Near-Field Scanner robot provided Magico with complete measurement data of the on- and off-axis response of the M7 loudspeaker during its development. The procedure is the same for every Magico speaker.

This state-of-the-art tool’s data is then analyzed and leveraged by Magico’s engineering team. The Klippel is part of a process that yields speakers with smooth off-axis dispersion characteristics that, when combined with on-axis frequency response, results in tonally consistent sound at the listening position and across the room. The tonal balance of reflections matter, and Magico addresses this. Bottom line: Magicos are designed to sound extraordinary in real-world rooms.
