Magico MPOD

The Magico MPOD’s design is grounded in the scientific principles of Constrained Layer Damping (CLD)—a highly effective method for redirecting and dissipating unwanted vibrations away from both a component and its supporting platform. Precision-engineered from aircraft-grade aluminum and tungsten steel, the MPOD features a robust yet elegant vertical stack construction.

At its core lies a solid, pure-copper substrate, tightly sandwiched between upper and lower layers of ISODAMP, a specialized thermoplastic material. When compressed against the copper core, these ISODAMP layers activate the CLD mechanism, efficiently converting vibrational energy into heat and dissipating it almost instantaneously.
