The S2 benefits from Magico’s Gen 8 Nano-Tec driver cone, featuring an aluminum-honeycomb core sandwiched between graphene-reinforced carbon-fiber skins. Combined with a new generation of driver chassis developed over three years, this technology pushes distortion lower than ever.
Its 5” midrange driver uses a generous 75mm voice coil, while a pair of newly developed 7” woofers deliver the bass. Both employ Gen 8 Nano-Tec cones in third-generation chassis, producing a crystal-clear midrange and accurate, exceptionally clean low frequencies, with a maximum SPL of 109dB at 55Hz at 1 meter.
The S2’s 28mm tweeter is derived from the flagship M9 and features a diamond-coated beryllium diaphragm. Extending to an extraordinary 50kHz, it delivers exceptional detail and subtlety, revealing an extraordinary level of high-frequency information.
