Marten – At High End Munich 2025, we are proud to introduce two remarkable new additions to our flagship Coltrane series: Coltrane Supreme Extreme and Coltrane Quintet Extreme.
These two models are the result of a close collaboration between our design and engineering teams. Representing the finest of what we do, they combine deep material knowledge, advanced component design, and a rigorous approach to craftsmanship. Both are the product of years of focused development and are meticulously built at our facility in Sweden.
COLTRANE SUPREME EXTREME
Coltrane Supreme Extreme is the most advanced loudspeaker we have ever created. With its dual-tower and bespoke drivers, it delivers outstanding resolution and dynamic power. It features the largest beryllium midrange ever created, Crystalid mid-bass units, and a carbon fibre monocoque cabinet strengthened by solid wood and aluminium. Each pair takes over 800 hours to build, complete with Jorma Paragon cabling and custom Marten terminals. Shown as a static display, it offers a rare chance to see our most ambitious project ahead of its official launch later this year.
Coltrane Quintet Extreme-available for full demonstration-brings much of this innovation to our classic Coltrane form. It shares key technologies— diamond and beryllium drivers, Jorma Paragon cabling, and a precision first-order crossover. The cabinet design achieves excellent resonance control, with tonal balance, impact and detail that deliver a rich and immersive performance. Finished in exclusive Piano Oak Green and limited to ten pairs worldwide, Coltrane Quintet Extreme represents a combination of elegance, precision and power.

COLTRANE QUINTET EXTREME
Coltrane Quintet Extreme brings the essence of Coltrane Supreme Extreme into a more compact four-way design.
Its cabinet is constructed from carbon fibre laminate with a sandwich baffle of aluminium, fibreboard and solid wood-engineered to minimise resonance while preserving time and phase accuracy. Internally, it uses Jorma Paragon cabling and a proprietary first-order crossover built with custom components, ensuring natural response and tonal integrity across the spectrum.
Performance is equally impressive: fast, controlled bass, expressive midrange, and effortless treble. The driver complement mirrors our flagship-with the same 3″ pure diamond high-midrange, 1″ pure diamond tweeter, and 7″ beryllium midrange-delivering an expansive sound with lifelike dynamics, rounded-off in the lower end with two 10″ aluminium sandwich bass units.
Finished in Piano Oak Green and limited to just ten pairs worldwide, Coltrane Quintet Extreme is hand-built in Sweden for those who demand reference-level performance in a form that integrates beautifully into real living spaces.
