The Red Dot Awards identifies quality design with its established Product Design Award. Meridian achieved the Red Dot: Product Design Award in the Audio: Speakers Category, therefore obtaining the highly acclaimed Red Dot Label.
The DSP9 loudspeaker by Meridian is the second loudspeaker released from the company’s Extreme Engineering Programme. Led by engineering experts, the programme delivers innovation and expertise in audio fidelity, sculpting products supported by years of research and investment. The DSP9 showcases innovation through its product design, curving in an ellipse to provide outstanding audio fidelity. The exterior geometry minimises unwanted sound diffraction produced by the drive units, providing customers with the highest-quality audio performance.
Meridian’s expert engineers combined visual appeal with sophisticated three-dimensional spaces within the cabinet for an entirely seamless audio performance.

Alongside this product design award, the DSP9 loudspeaker has been awarded a number of design awards in 2024, including the European Product Design Awards, New York Design Awards and London Design Awards.
