They avoid that bell-like zing often associated with exaggerated upper harmonics, a coloration even some pricier amplifiers fail to prevent. When amplifiers fail to match an orchestra’s energy and precision, musicians tend to react more aggressively to sonic imbalances, losing their musical compass and coherence. The ELEMENT 110, by contrast, maintains a real-time, unwavering direction, effortlessly tracking Boulez’s guided orchestra impetus.
It’s one of those rare qualities that separates technically proficient, musically insightful amplification from mediocrity.
It is never easy to reproduce classical music with the required authority, especially at the ELEMENT 110’s price point. Yet these amplifiers belong to a rare class of electronics that offer a valid benchmark for listeners who seek genuine depth over artificial drama, and for those who prefer lasting insight over momentary effect.
Madonna – Ray of Light
Ray of Light, produced by Madonna and William Orbit, is hard to overlook on many levels. It marked a distinct shift toward mysticism, reflecting Madonna’s lifestyle changes at the time, including her interest in Kabbalah and yoga.
