Peter Avgeris Most Exotic Single Ended Interstage Double C Core Transformers for vacuum tube audio amplifiers. Specially designed for high Rp (5-10 kOhms) and high mu Directly Heated Triodes but can also be used with more conventional triodes like 2A3, 300B, PX4, PX24, etc.
Cores are manufactured out of the ‘exotic’ ferromagnetic alloy that is custom ordered for myself, with ribbon thickness less than 24 microns thick. These are proposed for Telefunken DHTs of RE series like RE134 and can easily handle extremely high loads between 47kOhms – 68kOhms. Quad-chamber coil formers are hand assembled, made of carton pieces, precision cut on a laser-jet machine. All parts are of highest quality.
They are really monstrous and weigh more than 5 kgs each! Frequency response: Less than 10Hz @-0.5dB. More than 2MHz @-3dB with 700 ohms input impedance and 195kHz @-3dB with 10kOhms input impedance.
