Murakami Museum Tokyo.

While visiting Japan high-end audio show our friends from Frank Prowse Hi-Fi visited Murakami Museum in Tokyo. Haruki Murakami is a Japanese writer whose works have been bestsellers internationally; his work translated into 50 languages and having sold millions of copies outside Japan. But he is also a music lover, (he opened the Peter Cat jazz kissa before his writing took off) – he is well known for his vast vinyl collection!

“We were lucky to take a tour of the Murakami Museum in Tokyo which contains exact replicas of his home office where he enjoys listening to music while working. Note the Luxman PD-171A turntable and combination of JBL and Sonus faber speakers, not to mention the assorted books and vinyl (kindly donated by the man himself). A real pleasure to visit.”
