Nagra PLL Line vacuum tube pre-amplifier. The PL-L is a Pure Class A vacuum tube line pre-amplifier, based on the proven design concepts of the world-renowned PL-P and offering 4 inputs. It differs from the PL-P in that it does not have a phono front-end stage and is not equipped with the internal battery for total power isolation.
It was so fast, balanced, and clean that any sonic personality could be inferred only in comparisons with other preamps, from which it differed only ever so slightly. Even then, I had to wonder which preamp deserved to be the reference. And the tactile pleasure of using the Nagra’s controls, and its superb overall fit’n’finish, are givens.
