Classic phono features a new generation large, custom-made input transformers based on the core of the HD PREAMP, new high-end decoupling capacitors, full tube Class A (4 triodes in total) circuit, 10 dB more gain compared to VPS with pure tube stage, selection of RIAA, TELDEC and COLUMBIA curves. Nagra Classic phono caters the mono cartridges in a righteous, true mono mode with stereo/mono selector switch on the front panel.
