Nagra Streamer

Nagra writes: “Nagra revolutionized digital recording in the early ’90s with the Nagra D, the world’s first recorder capable of 96 kHz/24-bit sampling, ahead of its time for music and film production. Today, high-resolution audio is commonplace, prompting Nagra to develop a streamer. Unlike following trends, Nagra focused on creating a high-quality, neutral digital source.

The Streamer, housed in a compact yet robust aluminum chassis, echoes the design of the legendary Nagra VII. Its footprint accommodates tight rack spaces and allows placement near IT equipment, connected to a DAC via optical cable. The Streamer offers various streaming options like Tidal, Spotify, QOBUZ, vTuner, and upcoming Roon compatibility. It supports local file playback and connects via RJ45 cable, featuring outputs for Nagra DACs and others. An external power supply enhances sound quality, aligning with Nagra’s commitment to music. The Streamer bridges modern music sources with high-quality setups, expanding listening possibilities with digital streams and high-res files.
