New ARSound Miyaji MEMS Cartridge!

Another new, highly interesting and intriguing analog product from Japan. The characteristics of the ARSound MEMS cartridge are amplitude proportional and the output voltage is up to 250 mV, so there is no need to correct or amplify the RIAA curve with a phono equalizer.

The conventional MM and MC type cartridges use a coil and a magnet to convert the vibration of the needle into an electrical signal using a magnetic circuit. This pickup directs the sound pressure of the sound transmitted from the needle to the left and right sound channels.
The structure is such that the sound pressure is picked up by a condenser microphone.
Therefore, the sound of the microphone can be taken out as it is so that the bass sound can be taken out.
Since the MEMS microphone is a condenser microphone, it requires phantom power and uses a special head amplifier.
By working with a company in Hamamatsu, the city of musical instruments, ARSound has strived to create a natural tone. The golden “Miya” characters stand out on the ebony body. A walnut amplifier cover with a beautiful finish. The beauty, strength, and comfort of natural wood are reflected in the sound.
Miyaji-style MEMS are individually handmade to order, subjected to performance testing and measuring before shipping out.
