The USB unit uses Amanero Technologies licensed circuits and firmware and PCM supports playback up to 32 bit / 384 kHz and DSD up to 5.6 MHz (DSD 128). To deliver a high-quality clock, a pure audio PLL synthesis circuit based on OCXO is used.
Both the 44.1kHz and 48kHz series use the master clock with minimal phase noise (jitter). The 12MHz clock, which is connected to the main microcontroller that handles USB communication, also provides an extremely low phase noise clock from the low OCXO, which improves sound quality and reliability.
Inputs:
S/PDIF input supports coaxial, AES /EBU, TOSLINK (optical) 3 system inputs and supports up to 24 bit / 192 kHz.
Like the USB section, the slave clock processes audio signals with the built-in high-quality master clock.
