The new Fidelix MC -F1000 direct-coupled MC pickup from Japan (440,000 yen) has a long history dating back to 1990, with the first model CP-VA, which was made in very small batches, and these are still in use. Its basic structure is similar to JVC’s MC -L1000. It is a method in which the movement of the needle is directly converted before it passes through the cantilever. The STAX CP -X and CP -Y were identical in structure and resembled the NEUMANN DST62.
