Developed in conjunction with Pspatial Audio for the highest quality needle-drop recordings, the Phædrus Audio PHLUX system is a new development in phono cartridge technology in which a moving-magnet motor system is buffered by a miniature amplifier integrated with the cartridge itself and supplied power via the signal wires.
The PHLUX-II may be fitted to any turntable and arm combination without modifications to the wiring. The cartridge comes standard with a 0.0003″ x 0.0007″ elliptical stylus and has a precision machined aluminium body with tapped brackets (M2.5) so that installation does not require fiddly nuts and bolts. A Shibata stylus or a 0.003″ conical stylus are available as options.
