Tellurium Q have just launched a “refresh” of their entry level cable, the Blue range. From the outside very little will look to have changed except the “II” addition to the labels. Inside it is a different matter because developments and ideas from the Research and development of the higher ranges have trickled down and been utilised in some creative ways.
• Increased asymmetric shielding,
• Multiple new dielectrics (that insulate while improving sound quality),
• Internal structural changes with geometry tweaks that remain invisible externally
• Conductor changes
The result is that it looks the same but listen to it side by side with the old version.
