Music has always been one of the most universal forms of human expression. The emotional connection created by music does not belong only to people with specialized systems, technical knowledge, or particular listening environments. If the purpose was truly to allow people to explore the experience for themselves, then accessibility became an essential part of the project. This led to a fundamental change.
Instead of releasing the recording only on physical media, William Su decided that the project should be made publicly available on YouTube. Anyone, anywhere in the world, should have the opportunity to encounter the same starting point. There should be no requirement to become an audiophile first. The listening exploration itself should remain open.
To make this possible, the team decided to create a complete music video rather than simply upload an audio file. Production began in March 2026 and included filming and editing. On May 30, 2026, after the music video was completed, William Su launched a YouTube channel, BeyondTheSoundtw, and officially released the music video.
The transformation from a private reference recording into a publicly accessible YouTube music video was not a marketing decision, but a belief that meaningful listening experiences should not be limited to a small group of people.
For William Su, it began with a more personal observation: modern life has become increasingly filled with noise and constant stimulation. The relationship between people and sound has changed. For him, this raised an important question: could technology help people return to a more natural and meaningful relationship with music? Beyond every recording, there are people searching for moments that make them feel something real.
A dedicated YouTube selection allows for an independent, focused evaluation of the technology at work, letting the listener judge its impact through direct aural experience.
