Because the Coverfront is a modular system and made-to-order, there’s a new range of custom options available—including extra shelf space for your hi-fi gear and record player.
Ophon’s first pyramid-built record storage was specially made for Dutch state-of-the-art audio system brand, Amadeus Audio. The vinyl record holder was made to fit the hi-fi-filled room of Amadeus Audio founder, Ertugrul Dalkiran. This custom Coverfront is an example of how Ophon’s record storage can take on various forms to fit any corner.
Another previously made custom-built Coverfront is one with additional shelf space for an amplifier and record player. Such as this example with a Marantz Model 1060 and a Wheel turntable by Dutch family-owned audio brand Miniot on top.
Coverfront Customizer
The Amsterdam-based design brand recently launched a customizer to order your very own record storage system directly. Each Coverfront is produced on-demand in a carbon-neutral local facility. The modular options include height and width (each segment stores 60 records facing forward or 80 records sideways), material (birch multiplex, MDF, or oak veneer), and an endless array of colours and natural wood finishing (like oak, palisander, cherry, walnut, or spray-painted MDF in any RAL colour).
