ORTVIK creates bespoke, signature acoustic surfaces — integrated walls, sculptured ceilings, functional art, and acoustic furniture — designed to transform how sound inhabits, explores, and elevates a room. Every piece is commissioned, every surface choreographed to the fraction of a millimetre. Regardless of scale or complexity, every interior deserves acoustics without compromise: a singular fusion of performance and form.
We are not a provider. We are a transformative force. As a design-build partner, we bridge the void between architectural intent and acoustic reality.
THE ART OF ACOUSTICS PRECISION
Each acoustic surface is parametrically curated to master diffusion, absorption, and reflection with unerring accuracy. At this level of craft, we treat sound the way master watchmakers treat time: as something that demands absolute respect.
PURITY
Solid hardwoods. Acoustic-grade components. Hand-finished surfaces that honor the grain, the warmth, and the soul of real materials. We select every element for its sonic DNA as much as its beauty — because in our work, the two are inseparable.
PRESENCE
We don’t treat rooms — we compose environments that frame a holistic experience. Our installation maps every reflection path, transient decay, and resonant frequency to create a space where sound unfolds with absolute transparency.
BUILT ON RIGOR, NOT TRENDS.
ORTVIK was founded by brothers Petr and David Hortvik, architects of sound who spent years perfecting parametric surfaces for the world’s most demanding listening environments.
With hundreds of private commissions across Europe — listening rooms, recording studios, concert halls — our foundation is built on lived expertise refined over years of solving real-world challenges. In the workshop, on site, and everywhere in between.
Today, ORTVIK exists for the discerning few who understand that the ultimate luxury isn’t what you see, but how a space feels. Every commission draws on a library of acoustic knowledge that only comes from doing the work, over and over, until instinct and engineering become one.
