The Qlang M4s was born from a simple idea: a high-end loudspeaker should integrate naturally into its living environment while bringing music to life in all its richness, emotion and detail.
Developed and hand crafted by Michael Seefluth, founder of Seefluth Audio and the Qlang loudspeaker series, the M4s combines a deliberately compact cabinet, just 12 cm deep, with carefully selected drivers, active amplification and DSP-based acoustic tuning.
The aim is a balanced and coherent musical presentation – natural, precise and immediate enough to allow the full richness and emotional character of the music to emerge authentically.
Qlang also takes a personal approach to its relationship with customers. There is no large distribution organisation between the developer and the listener. From the workshop to the living room, the distance between the person who develops and builds the loudspeaker and the person who listens to it is deliberately kept short.
Personally Delivered to Your Listening Room
Every Qlang loudspeaker is created with the aim of fully realising its sonic potential under real-world conditions. This is why the development process does not end when the loudspeaker itself is completed – it only ends when the system has been optimally integrated into the individual listening room.
As part of the Founders’ Edition, Michael Seefluth will personally deliver the first 20 pairs of loudspeakers to their new owners within an 800 km radius of his workshop.
On site, he will take care of the optimal positioning and individually measure and optimise each system according to the acoustic characteristics of the respective listening room.
Technology Designed for the Long Term
The uncompromising solid-wood construction of the exceptionally slim Qlang M4s features a dense internal matrix structure designed to minimise cabinet resonances.
The cabinet is configured as a sealed system with a passive radiator – a concept that has proven particularly effective with this cabinet design and enables deep, authentic bass reproduction.
High-Quality Drivers
The combination of 18 cm SEAS mid/bass drivers with traditionally coated paper cones, a matched pair of Morel silk-dome tweeters from the premium range, and a two-channel Hypex Class D amplifier with a DSP-controlled active crossover creates an airy, open and exceptionally articulate sound.
This is complemented by excellent spatial reproduction and an especially natural presentation of voices and instruments.
The selection of components follows a long-term philosophy. Particular emphasis is placed on high reliability and the sustainable availability of replacement parts for many years to come.
A Modern Manufactory Philosophy
Qlang combines the advantages of modern audio technology with the values of traditional craftsmanship: direct communication, individual solutions and personal responsibility.
Customers receive more than just a loudspeaker. They receive a listening experience tailored entirely to their individual needs – developed, built and supported by the very person who created it.
