Sonner Audio

Sonner Audio writes: One of the exercises during voicing Sonner or evaluation other equipment/cables is to listen to Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Eva Cassidy, Willie Nelson or other country singers. These guys are stories telling. I don’t listen to their voice, instead try to feel if I get drawn to what they want to tell us, their intonation or the way they are saying the lyrics.

If I don’t get the message/meaning from the lyrics, something is off.

High End Audio is not a bunch of parts put together or frequency data points. It should able to convey human soul to the audience. If not, it is just an Expensive Hifi making sound, not High End Audio.

It is easy to screw drivers and solder parts and call it speaker. It is hard to infuse soul to a speaker or to make speaker convey the emotion of the musician. That is the fundamental of speaker design and it is the art of voicing.

As always, a special way of telling story is to pair a stand mount with a tube amplifier.”
