Sonus Faber cooperation with Bi.Sma, a Padova-based company that takes care of lacquering processes, started in 1993 with the first lute shape speaker: Guarneri Homage. Marino, owner and founder, is a true connoisseur of lacquering techniques, thanks to years of experience in the finishing of musical instruments. Fun fact: Timing! after 14 layers of lacquer, the cabinets are kept in a temperature controlled environment of 35 degrees Celsius for about 4 weeks, before starting the careful sanding and polishing processes.
