STEINWAY & SONS ICONIC PIANO SHAPE

Many of us love piano music. And talking about the audio extremes, here is an interesting insight into the iconic piano form of Steinway & Sons. The iconic grand piano shape was invented and patented by C.F. Theodore Steinway in 1878. The rim supports up to 46,000 lbs (20,865 kg) of tension from its strings, while enhancing the acoustic properties of the soundboard.
