Photos from Kostas Metaxas’ visit to the Stellavox factory in the mid 1980’s… Kostas writes “My mentor, genius inventor/engineer – Georges Quellet…Georges Quellet also inspired and was the mentor to Mark Levinson who actually worked in the factory for a year…sadly, by the end of the 80’s, digital had taken over which led to all R2R companies extinction – except for Nagra because Stefan’s son Andre, was a billionaire in the satellite-tv set-top-box encryption business…Nowadays, Georges and his wife Pepita run a bed-and-breakfast in Hauterive, Switzerland [in his retirement – Georges is over 90].”
