SUGDEN AUDIO GRANDE PRODUCTION

Peek at the Sugden Audio Grande test procedure. After an initial first test and setup, the Grande is put in Sugden’s listening room for forty hours to undergo a ‘soak’ test. As it is such a large amplifier the front panel is the final part of assembly, this allows the technician full access to install all the electronics. Every Grande is currently being tested and setup by Tony Miller himself who designed the circuit boards and the case.

Under Sugden LA-4 you can spot stripped down Sapphire FBA-800, that is used as a reference power amplifier in listening room for testing new pre-amplifier designs or digital products.
