TEAC 1953 – 2023

TEAC Audio writes: “On 6th December 1877, Thomas Edison invented the phonograph, the first machine that could record sound and play it back.
In Japan, the 6th of December is “Sound Day” (音の日), the birthday of audio.

Since its start in 1953, TEAC’s goal has always been to record the musician’s performance and the engineer’s intentions faithfully to deliver them clearly to the listener’s ears. We have created numerous audio products with this goal in mind. Delivering good sound to people who love music, single-mindedly.

We are committed to continue to provide products that are made with the utmost care and attention, for people just like you who love music. Listen to some good sounds and have a great day!”
