Technics SL-1200GR Grand Class Direct Drive Turntable NEW

Technics brought back legendary SL-1200 last year with a grand pomp and now, they’re updating it with the all new SL-1200 Grand Class model. SL-1200 is not a typical audiophile turntable, but there are quite few people, that will duel anyone into the sparkling discussion… There is no pricing info yet, but if last year model was 4K it surely won’t come cheaper.

There are many tweaks and refinements like new, single rotor, coreless direct drive motor, that promises better performance and eliminates the cogging phenomena.

SL-1200 Grand Class platter’s gained extra weight as well as  special resonance absorbing rubber. Highly rigid chassis comes as sandwich of two layers, made out of bulk moulding compound and aluminum die-cast chassis construction.
