The Beatles Something back-flash

Yesterday one same day,  02 May 1969 The Beatles recorded the basic take for “Something” at Abbey Road Studios, that many consider among the most beautiful love songs.
They did 36 takes of the song that evening, pushing past 3 a.m. The basic recording featured George on guitar through a rotating leslie speaker, Paul on bass, Ringo on drums, John on guitar, and Billy Preston on piano. Take 36 was deemed “Best.” They continued to work on the song sporadically through July, it was mixed in August and released in September.
