Above quote from one of my favorite musician gives more then a food for a thought. It offers an important perspective about the real luxury we can enjoy as the listeners.
To often lots of people take the musical heritage and creational library for granted. Its a precious gift given to humanity and its beyond any medium. Its about message and how message is being conveyed falls into different, often higher and exotic audio realms.
For audiophiles and music lovers there are certain expectations and preferred ways of aural intake. Still… At the end of the day , the places music can take us and all the new discoveries of unknown material simply keeps my boy like curiosity and enthusiasm in full speed. Nor I want ever to be in absence of this particular feeling, nor of special potent high-end audio gear, that can enable emotional communication to take a place.
High-end audio can (and should) be much more then sum of the expensive gears. Its about pure connection to the soul of the music where emotional bound can be manifested. And yes, its true, how this “magic” can occur with certain gear. It can be about 5th, 7th harmonics being properly addressed, about the proper gain handling, etc. Point is… There are products out there that do matter by making all the difference. These unique creations offers a different insight into the core of the music and are worthy of true high-end audio, ultra high-end audio and exotic high-end audio labeling.
