Pina Carmirelli played the 1690 Tuscan Strad, a large violin almost the size of a viola, property of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Rome. This instrument belonged to the quintet ordered in 1684 by the Marquiz Ariberti to be presented to Prince Ferdinand .son of the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Cosimo III di Medice. – Saulo Zucchello
