August 8th 1969, the date of one of the most famous photo-shoots in rock n’ roll history. On the hot summer’s day, photographer Iain Macmillan climbed onto a stepladder, looked out for nearby traffic and took six shots of The Beatles walking over the zebra crossing back and forth, take five making the cover of one of their most famous albums, Abbey Road!
