The Wand Tonearm

The Wand Tonearm on the Crocodile Dundee of turntables… “That’s not an idler drive. This is an idler drive.” The Commonwealth Turntable from Australia. The plinth is that thick because of the size of the motor. (Jon is a Kiwi who mostly uses an AT09 cartridge on the arm). Made in Hobart 1950 to mid 70s. In the latter years owned by Philips.
