Thomas Mayer introduces new tube models: the One, Two, Three. As these are completely new tube developments and there are no equivalents to existing types, they have been given new tube designations. They are called ONE, TWO and THREE in the order of their development.

The ONE was the first new tube developed for use in the output stage of the Intrepid DAC or the Intrepid Linestage.

Fresh from the tube factory, the TWO’s main function is as a driver in the Intrepid power amplifiers. Alternatively, it can also be used in the DAC or Linestage. Depending on the desired amplification. It is similar to the ONE, but has a higher gain and a different glow voltage.
The THREE is an output triode that can deliver up to 10W in single-ended mode. Like the TWO, it has a longer plate than the ONE. Both the TWO and the THREE are about 20 mm higher than the ONE or the TM300B.
