Totaldac updated its website with dedicated information and related data about the d1-CD. The d1-CD is a CD transport designed from the ground up to serve as an absolute reference for digital sources, feeding a Totaldac DAC or any other DAC.
The d1-CD utilizes today’s Austrian CD-PRO8 mechanism and incorporates all the research into developing Totaldac DACs, reclockers, and streamers. Its features include advanced oscillators, dedicated clock distribution, a specialized SPDIF generator, a massive copper plate, anti-vibration feet, refined ground and earth distribution, electromagnetic and mechanical damping, a live-power transformer, and specific power supply filtering.
