A quick look at the prototype of a rear horn tweeter for the Totaldac d150 anniversary horn loudspeakers. The resulting sonic advantage is very promising because the horn already radiated mid frequencies backward and the bass already radiated some energy backward. With the specially made horn tweeter, you get a full spectrum radiating to the rear, which gives an even better feeling of space and life.
Despite this additional load, the loudspeaker impedance remains above 6 ohms in this high-frequency range. Certainly, an option that will be offered soon and that can also be installed for people who already own Totaldac d150 loudspeakers. Only the horn tweeter bracket still needs to be developed. The horn, the compression driver, and the crossover are already optimized.
