Totaldac Listening Experience at Their Headquarters in France

Vincent Brient provides a comprehensive Totaldac product experience, especially for listeners in countries without a local Totaldac dealer, by showcasing the latest complete Totaldac system in the auditorium at Totaldac’s headquarters in France.

The system, by default, includes:

  • d1-streamer-live
  • d1-CD CD transport
  • d1-switch ethernet switch
  • d1-AES-live reclocker
  • d1-biunity DAC
  • attenuator RCA interconnect
  • Amp-1-sublime stereo amplifier
  • d124 speakers
  • Amp-1-generator low noise power regenerator
  • Totaldac black cables

The room is around 60 sqm with a high ceiling and is well treated.

The room frequency response is quite flat at the listening position, 4.5 m away from the speakers, when both speakers and all three subwoofers are playing (with a slightly decreasing response in the treble due to the distance, which is normal):

Visitors are welcome to bring their own CDs or USB drives, search for tracks on Qobuz, listen to the Totaldac Qobuz playlist, and even connect their phone to the Wi-Fi to control the streamer from their Qobuz account using their playlists.

For those who wish to evaluate the amplifiers and speakers with an analog source, a 1/4 inch reel-to-reel player is also available.

As travel can be costly, a discount of 2,500 euros is offered to customers visiting the Totaldac headquarters from 2026, provided they purchase at least 10,000 euros of equipment and have no dealer in their country.
