Vitavox Triple5 is an all horn-loaded loudspeaker system which offers an expandable platform.
The Triple5 is an evolution of the classic Vitavox Oracle. A 3-way system which incorporates the T3 module with integrated time domain control, it is built and finished to the most exacting standards. It optimises the incredible performance of our finest drive units, all three of which feature an Alnico5 motor assembly.
These extraordinarily capable units can be supplemented with the addition of the Tremor Active Bass System. The additional octave of low frequency extension these offer creates a 4-way, high bandwidth, all horn system capable of world leading performance.
The Triple5’s mid-bass enclosure comprises a Vitavox LGK151 15″ bass driver, loaded to the front by a long exponentially expanding horn, and to the rear by a ported chamber and coupled ventilated plinth.
A carefully contoured sub-base, with manually adjustable point supports, isolates and subtly elevates the cabinet.
The carcase is constructed primarily of beech plywood, a dense and extremely rigid material with a rich tonal character, generously braced throughout for further stiffness.
The surface finish owes its beauty to the traditional crafts of veneering and inlay. We offer the material combination of crown walnut and Swiss pear as standard, but bespoke finishes are also available on request.
