The Vivid Audio Moya M1’s bass array is a powerhouse, featuring eight C225-100H drivers in a high-shove configuration, each handling 800W. The C225’s radially polarised magnet structure, reinforced by a 11kg steel core, supports a durable glass-reinforced former and edge-wound copper-ribbon voice coil, allowing for extreme power handling. Drivers are arranged in horizontally-opposed pairs, eliminating reaction forces without the need for a heavy enclosure. The cabinet’s foam-cored composite sandwich and extensive bracing ensure stiffness, with low-end precision enhanced by reaction-cancelling ports and exponential absorbers.
