Vivid Audio interesting installation at AudioXperience in Nuenen, Netherlands.
Interesting setup with Merging NA-DAC, 6 channels in DSD with Vivid Audio speakers. Bert van der Wolf (recording engineer Northstar recordings, Turtle Records) has recorded loads of Classical music in 6 channels DSD surround, where the emphasis lies on recreating the natural ambiance of a concert hall and true dynamics.
“We have used three Vivid G3 for front en center channel and two Giya G4 as rear channels. A Velodyne DD-15 for the deepest notes. The result was really spectacular! A phenomenal soundstage where all of the loudspeakers simply disappeared.”
