The Wren HiFi M1 Console is a reimagining of the console stereo we all remember from decades past. Once a standard fixture in many homes, somewhere along the line the makers of these consoles lost pace with technological innovations and changing tastes. There are a few things that haven’t changed though and likely never will. People still love music and the vinyl record has yet to be surpassed in listening quality. The goal of Wren Hifi is to celebrate the recorded music listening experience, to recapture the warmth that radiated from those old consoles, and to take an old concept and create something new.
In an effort to take what was once a great idea and make it relevant to our modern lifestyle, Scott and Debra of WrenHiFi spent many hours discussing what they would build for their own home if they could build anything they wanted. The end result – the Wren HiFi M1 Console Stereo – provides the ability to incorporate all forms of currently popular audio technology into one user-friendly and aesthetically attractive package. Our ultimate objective was to design one well conceived and great sounding union of audio technology and fine furniture that would fit into a variety of settings, be it beneath a living room television or a beautiful work of art.
