YOURA GULLER

When Youra Guller died in 1985 she left an inordinately small legacy of records for posterity, considering her stature as a pianist and her large repertoire. Her first and most valuable recordings were in the French label Ducretet-Thomson, later, at maturity, the recitals presented at the Wigmore Hall were recorded on the English label Nimbus, while the last two Beethoven sonatas, today also very sought after by collectors, were recorded in the French label Erato.

First made in France on Ducretet-Thomson 255 C 039 semi circle grey & brown mono label, matrix LD 1669/70, 10 inch LP. Program: Frederic Chopin, Mazurkas Favorites. Youra Guller plays in a Steinway piano. Saulo Zucchello
