The Ypsilon Electronics PST-100 Anniversary preamplifier was developed to celebrate 30 years since the company’s founding. It was an exercise in elevating the performance of the Ypsilon PST-100 SE preamplifier to an even higher level.
In addition to the SE model
- The transformer attenuators are made with custom nanocrystalline core materialIt has a special ultra pure topology in the active gain stage using silver wound nanocrystalline transformers at input and output.
- No cap in the signal path.It’s all point to point wired with ultra pure silver wire.
- It uses only high quality film capacitors (no electrolytics) in the power supply and also very high inductance double C-core amorphous choke filter.
- The anniversary preamp uses the same C3m tubes ,1 per ch., and rectifier tube.
- The front display is our newest design with large characters and selectable colors from the settings menu of the preamp.
