The Acoustical System of Germany has launched their more affordable reference tonearm, the Aquilar which is a 10″ and Axiom is 12″. This is not a “cheaper” tonearm in terms of performance, quality, material or features. Mostly, what you expect from their best can be found here.
Mr. Koo Shiuh Yuan of Swedish Statement installed the Acoustical System Aquilar tonearm on Dato’ Danon Han TechDas Air Force One and our Senior Contributing Editor had a fun of mounting the SME base for the Aquilar.
