Lyravox will show fully integrated high-end active systems KARL and KARLOTTA at High End 2017 from 18th to 21st May at booth H11 in hall 2. This new class of floor-standing speakers combines audiophile ceramic drivers and potent Pascal® power amplifiers with an integrated streaming unit. High-resolution audio files can thus be streamed directly through the systems from your home network, mobile devices or streaming services.
Holistic audio system with outstanding performance
KARL and KARLOTTA mark the first floor-standing speakers from Lyravox. The active high-end systems are equipped with eight Pascal® power amplifiers boasting 500 watts of power each. The active electronics grant high-resolution digital frequency separation, distortion correction and delay correction through FIR technology for all eight individually powered channels. Lyravox combines the advantages of a fully active system with the remarkable qualities of modern ceramic membranes to achieve overwhelming sound. KARL and KARLOTTA accomplish an exceptionally detailed reproduction of stage, tone, texture, timbre, dynamics, timing and homogeneity to perfectly convey the soul of the music.
Perfect integration of high resolution streaming
Today, music is more readily available than ever. The Lyravox streamer integrated in KARL and KARLOTTA can directly play back high-resolution audio from your home network, from streaming services online or from smartphone or tablet. From the local network, the streamer will play audio up to 24 bit at 192 kHz, from the internet, it can access TIDAL® or Qobuz®, both now in high-res quality, too.
As for wireless playback from your smartphone, KARL and KARLOTTA support uncompressed music transmission via Bluetooth apt-X®. In addition to these wireless connections, both systems also offer digital and analogue connectors for using external sources with the speakers.
Intuitive control and optimal setup
KARL and KARLOTTA can be comfortably controlled with the included remote control featuring a high-resolution colour display. In addition, the Lyravox Remote App is available for free for both iOS® and Android® devices and offers the same functionality.
To guarantee ideal sound performance, the initial setup will not be performed by automatic algorithms – specially trained experts will tailor the system to your specific room instead.
