In addition to the S 509 mono power amplifiers we offer the S PRE preamplifier. The S PRE is a passive control device. There are no active amplifying components therein. Advantages of this technique are:
- no sound distorting components in the signal path; the gain of the output stages is sufficient to provide a source signal, e.g. from the CD player, streamer, etc. to the final power.
- Investments were made in a high-quality 48-stage volume control, which is driven by remote motor control unit. No abrasive contact degrades the sound quality of the sensitive music signal.
